When is a Cube not a Cube? When you select the option to install the Dynamics AX OLAP Server in Tabular mode! In this session we will explore a possible use case for installing the Dynamics AX OLAP project as a non-mdx tabular structure that we will refer to as a data mart and use for Ad Hoc querying. The purpose of this discussion is to identify when a more easily understood data structure might be beneficial to an organization and describe some of the tools that could then be used to work with it.
