Master Scheduling in Dynamics AX
The master scheduling logic within Dynamics AX provides a key tool for coordinating supply chain activities in manufacturing/distribution firms.  However, many users have struggled with effective use of master scheduling.  The difficulties often stem from the large number of variables that must be considered, and misunderstandings about Dynamics AX functionality.  This session summarizes the major S&OP scenarios for using master scheduling logic.  It provides a detailed walk-through of the key screens and fields related to the master scheduling task, the use of key outputs, and the key information impacting master scheduling logic.  The detailed walk-through will reflect the latest AX 2012 capabilities (including R3), but audience questions about previous AX versions will also be addressed.  The presentation will help increase effective use of master scheduling for newer users as well as more experienced users.

Data Integrity for Manufacturers, Yep It's Important!
At the end of the day, our goal as planners is to meet demand with forward looking supply in a manner that provides maximum customer service at least cost with the least working inventory. The system recommendations are only as good as the data and assumptions you feed it. While, with current technology, there is no such thing as a practical way to find the best possible plan, any improvement in the data quality should yield a better plan. So what is the data and can we improve its quality?
